What you will cover in this lecture
In this lecture the author looks at the natural history and clinical presentation of Scheuermann’s and idiopathic kyphosis. The author describes the epidemiological facts and the postulated etiology of this disease. The natural history is discussed in detail with relevance to decision making for operative treatment. The author describes the clinical presentation with clinical photographs and radiographs. The clinical criteria are explained with reference to radiological findings, and the imaging findings are discussed in detail with features in addition to those which are seen commonly on X-rays.
