Lecture: Indication for Brace Treatment
This lecture looks at the role of the brace in the conservative treatment of spinal deformities. The levels of evidence for its efficacy and recommendation in cases of EOS, AIS and other scoliotic and kyphotic deformities are discussed. This is followed by an examination of the use of a brace as an adjunctive treatment for the management of difficult cases of neuromuscular and congenital scoliosis.
