The Spine Surgery Education Programme contains 180 Spine Surgery Lectures, and contains Specialist Certificates and the full Postgraduate Diploma in Spine Surgery. The eccElearning Faculty is made up of over 140 expert spine surgeons and educators. They have collectively supported the development of the world’s first comprehensive, online postgraduate education programme in a medical sub-speciality, spine surgery.

Lecture: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Treatment of Low Back Pain
In this lecture, the roles of multidisciplinary teams in managing patients with yellow flag signs are discussed in view of the biopsychosocial model of disease. The lecture looks at how the pain is perceived in altered psychological states. Strategies are suggested to identify the patients who are at high risk of developing chronicity of symptoms or poor response to indicated treatment and how the mulitidisciplinary management can help overcome the difficulties encountered.
