Learning Objectives of this Module:

  • To understand the technical principles, indicate the modalities and their limitations, and know the strengths and weaknesses of neurophysiologic studies in specific spinal disorders.
  • To know the etiology and epidemilogy, natural history and clinical findings, and pathophysioloy of cervical radiculopathy.
  • Know the indications and limitiations of conservative treatment options for cervical radiculopathy.
  • Have a basic understanding of the pathomorphology, indications, the implications of fusion, and recent minimally invasive treatment techniques.
  • Know the common complications, treatment options, and how to minimise complications in subaxial cervical procedures.
