This short online spine course gives a comprehensive overview of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), a specific spine pathology which is generally rare, but a complex issue once a patient is affected by it.

The information in this course enables the treating doctor to undertake the necessary diagnostic evaluations and to initiate the appropriate treatment modalities.

This course is ideal for family practitioner/GPs, general internists, rheumatologists and orthopaedic surgeons.

You will be able to make a proper diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis, based on an in-depth clinical examination and imaging procedure and to set up an appropriate treatment plan. You will also be able to inform the patients and their families accurately about the prognosis and the risks of the treatment choice.
